Story
Gay It Loud is a linear visual novel about retro mall romance.
Verity Bridges is back in her hometown after a year of unsuccessfully discovering herself. No money and no responsibilities: a perfect chance to throw her cares away at Eastbriar Mall.
In a retro shopping paradise filtered through thick, playful nostalgia goggles, find faces both old and new, master laser tag, and forge friendships and romances—all while running from the impending doom that is getting a job.
Characters
- Verity: Go-getter and ray of sunshine. Loves games of all kinds (doesn’t mean she’s good at them).
- Zamira: Failing artist brooding over her next career move. She sees this mall as a pointless stopgap. Another round of Skee-Ball will change her mind.
- Maya: She does NOT do children’s birthday parties. Stop asking.
- Deb: A B-tier mean girl with C-tier conformist dreams. Melt this softie’s icy heart.
- Marshall: A lot has changed about your ex. He transitioned, and he seems to live at the mall. But even though he said you shouldn’t get back together…
