We here at Yuri Kissaten salute you to a very hot summer/mild winter depending on your location. We’ve been hard at work on a bazillion things lately, and so we’re recapping our latest happenings right here in this post.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Kickstarter campaign for Winter Heat has 7 days remaining! Please support so we can reach the stretch goal for a Japanese localization!
For everything else, we…
- Released Life of a Dispatch English Teacher in Japan!
- Released a new Yuri Kissaten Espresso showcase video. This time featuring partner developer trailers as well! Watch it on Youtube.
- Celebrated an important anniversary of a certain game.
- Got awesome new art as a part of the artfight event featuring Shi and Oomfie.
- Received the most unexpected fanart of all, a papercraft Minecraft Oomfie skin!
- Lamented declining media literacy.
- Entered hyperfixation fugue states about indie game aesthetics.
- Created objectively correct tier list rankings.
- Walked for three days in a row.
- Appeared in several Steam events and itch.io bundles, leading to way more people playing Love is in the Airship than ever before.
- Revamped the Yuri Kissaten main website.
- Created the Fruz original website, which looks especially beautiful!
- Traveled all across Western and Central Japan on an extreme budget–more on that in a future bonus post.
- And, of course, launched our first-ever Kickstarter campaign which was fully funded in less than four hours and has met almost all its original stretch goals!
A really busy couple of months for Yuri Kissaten. But it won’t slow down from here. The full release of Winter Heat is only a few months away, and we have two more game reveals this year, to boot… Stay tuned and stay excited.
