Welcome to the first month of 2026. We wrapped up our 5 for ’25 Campaign, released out second paid game, and… Wait, we are supposed to do this in bullet points.
We:
- Launched our Winter Yuri Showcase video.
- RELEASED WINTER HEAT!
- Created two Steam bundles – One for our two paid games, and one Cute Yuri Games Bundle collaborating with other developers.
- Released a Homestuck Merch Store video.
- Watched cool movies.
- Ended up playing a large amount of video games in 2025.
- Announced our upcoming game: Gay It Loud, directed by Joi Massat.
- Joi also made lots of cool promo posts. So many.
- Announced our upcoming game: Occult Hand of the Blood Lily, directed by Fruz.
- Participated in two Steam sales: Choose Wisely and Winter Sale. That earned us over half our total revenue in a single month
Winter Heat Release:
This month we finally finished and released Winter Heat, the game we made for a silly little jam, then worked on consistently for the better half of a year through blood, sweat and tears (mostly sweat due to the heat). It took a lot of work, specially those silly little apps that we’re still actively updating, but anyways.
The first week after the release was a little intense with all the bugs that kept popping up. If you noticed, we’re currently on version 1.05 and 5 of those updates were on that first week, the next version will be bigger and add a lot of different stuff but first we needed to rush out to get the bugs fixed!
But either way we’re happy to have finally put it out for the public to see and play, so far all players I’ve heard from have absolutely loved it, they find the art cute, they laugh and love the text, it’s overall been a big win, some have commented on their excitement for future updates and I’m excited to release them too, the Kickstarter backers have already gotten a few teasers of what’s to come. (✿◠‿◠)
It makes me happy to see what our little jam project has become, it’s really so much bigger than I could have imagined when we first made that, people also liked it back then but now with the complete game they’ve been loving it and it puts a smile on my face… so go play it now!!
Looking Forward
- We’re hoping to get the demos for Gay It Loud, Toxic Yuri, and Occult Hand of the Blood Lily all released by the end of the month!
- We’re going to make considerable progress on the demo for an unannounced project that will stay unannounced for quite a long time.
- Other than that, it’s looking to be a slow month. Januaries usually are.
5 for ’25 RETROSPECTIVE
After a year of progress, here’s where our 5 for ‘25 Campaign stands. We’ll give you a full retrospective later this month, but our project rundown:

- ??? – The sudden sixth project is still gaining momentum. You’ll hear about it sooner rather than later.
